HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Meet Hailey! This pretty girl is a two-year-old Hound mix, and she is hoping you might want to add her to your family! Hailey was found as a stray and after not being reclaimed, she is now available for adoption! Seeing as Hailey was a stray, we do not know how she does with cats or other dogs, but we do offer trial adoptions and meet and greets. We do not know if Hailey is house, or crate trained, but she is sharp as a tack and catches on to new tricks quickly! Hailey is very sweet and loving, she would make a great companion for a family with children. Hailey is HW NEGATIVE and UTD on vaccines, she also weighs 55 pounds! Come adopt Hailey today! Meet Samara! This pretty kitty is a one-year-old diluted tortoiseshell domestic shorthair cat, and she is currently looking for her forever home. Samara was owner released to the shelter because her owners already had too many animals in the home. Unfortunately, we were not given much information about Samara, we do not know if she is good with cats or dogs, but we do offer trial adoptions! Sweet Samara is so gentle, friendly, and a total love bug, she would do best in a home with children. Samara has done great using her litterbox and should continue to do so in her forever home. Samara is FIV/FLV/HW NEGATIVE and UTD on vaccines. Come adopt sweet Samara today! Samara’s adoption fee is $75!
