HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Meet Nala! This pretty baby is a one-year-old Bully mix, and she is currently looking for her forever home! Nala was found as a stray and was never reclaimed, now this beautiful baby is available for adoption. We do not know if Nala gets along with cats and other dogs, but we do offer trial adoptions and meet and greets. This sweet girl is loving and friendly and would do great in a home with children. We do not know if Nala is house, or crate trained, but she is young and can still learn! Nala is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and is ready to go home today! Come adopt darling Nala! Meet Gaga!This cutie is a two-year-old tabby and white domestic shorthair cat, and she is ready to find her forever home! Gaga was owner released to the shelter because they already had too many animals. We do not know how Gaga does with other cats or dogs, but we do offer trial adoptions! This sweet girl is loving and friendly and would do great in a home with kiddos! Gaga is litterbox trained, UTD on vaccinations, and is ready to be adopted! Come adopt pretty little Gaga today!
