Alan Lacy, 73, of Hopkinsville, KY died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Robert Webb and Lee Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Alan was born in Clarksville, TN on April 12, 1951, the son of the late William Ernest Lacy and Ruth Alan Hewell Lacy. Alan was a veteran that proudly served in the United States Navy from 1971-1981. Alan worked at Kroger for over 42 years where he always greeted his customers, which he loved like family, with a smile. He was a member of Little River Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children: Linda Donner Lacy; his precious son: Ryan Lacy; and his second wife, the love of his life: Gwyn G. Lacy.
Survivors include his daughter: Jennifer Lacy Morgan of South Milwaukee, WI; his sister: Beth Lacy of Hopkinsville, KY; and his five grandbabies: Dylan Morgan, Shelby Morgan, Clayton Morgan, Landyn Morgan, and Kaytlynn Morgan.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Little River Church of Christ, The Wounded Warrior Project, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
