HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Meet Buddy! This handsome boy is a one-year-old Rottweiler mix, and he is currently looking for his forever home! Buddy was found as a stray and was never reclaimed, he is now available for adoption! We do not know how this guy does with cats or other dogs, but we offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to make sure he’s a great fit for your family! This lover is so sweet and would be great with kiddos! We do not know if Buddy is house or crate trained, but he’s still young give him a chance to learn! Buddy is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, weighs 59 pounds, and is ready to be adopted today! Buddy’s adoption fee is $115 plus tax!
Meet Peanut! This pretty girl is a one-year-old tabby domestic medium hair cat, and she is currently looking for her forever home! Peanut was owner released to the shelter because they had too many pets in the home, she is now ready to be adopted! This sweet baby does great with dogs and other cats, we also offer trial adoptions to make sure she’s a purrfect fit for your family! Peanut is a sweet girl and does great with kiddos! This lady is litterbox trained, FIV/FLV/HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and is ready to be adopted today! Peanut’s adoption fee is $75 plus tax!
