Lynne Hensley, 73, of Cerulean, KY died at 4:18 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Father Chris Kight officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with a rosary at 1:00 p.m.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY she was born September 10, 1951, the daughter of the late Roy and Rosemary Rawlins. She was a retired educator having worked in the Christian County Public School System, Murray State University, and Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School. She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church where she was also a member of the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Leon Hensley; and her sister: Mary Rawlins.
Survivors include her son: Miles Ian Andrew (Nathasha Marie) Hensley of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter: Dora Ellen Agatha Hensley of Hopkinsville, KY; and her siblings: Leah Kathryn Rawlins of Hopkinsville, KY, Robert Thomas Rawlins of Gracey, KY, and Elizabeth Dru Rawlins of Arlington, VA; and her grandchildren: Lillian Jones, Olivia Jones, Leon Hensley, and Dinah Hensley.
