HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – After a few days of rain, expect freezing weather for Thanksgiving and through the weekend.

There is a 70% chance of rain on Monday, then a 90% chance of rain on Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Winter chills are coming in behind that, with a high of only 46 on Thanksgiving Day, and a low of 25 that night. Friday’s low drops to 21.

Monday: Showers likely, mainly after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 65. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Monday night: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 33. North northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 50. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
