OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Starbucks will be opening their newest location on Claire Drive in Oak Grove this fall.
The City of Oak Grove first shared the announcement during a Special Economic Development meeting in May 2024. City officials agreed that the new development goes along with their plan to further expand the city.
Approximately 25 to 30 employees will be hired at this location before opening, a Starbucks spokesperson told Christian County Now. The location will also feature Starbucks new Siren System, which is a digital wait time for customers ordering through mobile pick up. The system will improve the accuracy of wait times and increase customer transparency, according to the franchise.
Future customers will find the coffee shop on 215 Claire Drive, located next to Taco Bell. Although construction has not begun as of January 2025, Public Works in Oak Grove says dirt work on the project is underway.
