Anthony “Tony” Dewayne Moore, 67, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, August 6, 2023, at his residence following a long illness.
Visitation Service will be held from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements. `
A native of Davenport, Iowa he was born April 12, 1956, the son of Elizabeth Henderson and the late Charles Henderson. He loved to hunt and fish. Professionally he was a lifelong truck driver most recently with McGraw’s Lumber Company in Cadiz and went by the CB handle “Hillbilly”.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents George and Lonnie Mae Henderson and his paternal grandparents Charles and Beaulah Boyd. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife: Karen Moore; daughters: Misty (Todd) Latham of Sharon Grove, Kentucky; Chastity (DJ) Mullen of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Rebecca (Robbie) Pollard of Herndon, Kentucky; sons: Parker Moore of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; Derek (Randi) Goodwin of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; Brandon (April) Goodwin of Trenton, Kentucky; brother; Vincent (Kay) Henderson of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; sister: Cheryl (James) Mathenia of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; grandchildren: Chase Farmer; Allison Thomas; Heather Goodman; Barrett Latham; Jordan Latham; Mackenzie Kennedy; Serena Adams; Drystyn Pollard; Jade Kutzman; Erin Goodwin; Bethany Goodwin; Tishe Lewis and Blake Goodwin. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Tony requested that no flowers be sent and donations in his honor are suggested to Pennyroyal Hospice.
