Donald Euel Sholar Jr., 69, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 8:26 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at his residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at Riverside Cemetery. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Bardstown, Kentucky he was born July 30, 1954 the son of Donald Euel Sholar, Sr. and Joan Sparks Sholar. He held a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Education. Professionally he was an art teacher at Millbrooke Elementary.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his brother: David (Linda) Sholar of Waukesha, WI; sisters: Lisa (Terry) Boyer of Crestwood, KY; Launa Hanson of Goshen, KY; nephews Dr. Chris Hanson; Jason Hanson; nieces: Samantha Lamb; Lauren Boyer.
Memorial contributions in Don’s honor may be made to the Kentucky Alzheimer’s Association.
