HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Summer Salute will take over downtown Hopkinsville on Sept. 12-13 with an amazing lineup of live music, vendors, and activities for the community. Easton Corbin will be the headliner for the festival, with a free concert Saturday night.
According to Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, Corbin is known for his chart-topping hits “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll with It.” He will be delivering his signature blend of traditional and modern country to Hopkinsville this weekend.
Carnival rides will be set up at Founders Square, with activities expanding down to Little River Park and vendors lining Ninth Street downtown. Concerts will take place Friday and Saturday night in front of the Christian County Justice Center.
Summer Salute schedule
The festival will open and close at the same time each day, with concerts taking place at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The first night will feature music from Saved by the Music, a high energy local band who plays 90’s hit. Next is Shining Star: “A Tribute to Earth, Wind, and Fire.”
On Saturday night, headliner Easton Corbin will take the stage at 8 p.m., with The Frontmen opening the show at 6 p.m. featuring a supergroup of country music legends. Find more about these artists on the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Summer Salute website.

- 2 p.m. Bluegrass Beverage Beer Garden opens.
- 5 p.m. Concert seating opens up.

Road closures for Summer Salute in Hopkinsville
The following changes to traffic flow will be in effect from Thursday, Sept. 11, 4:30 p.m. – Sunday, Sept. 14, 4:00 a.m. The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library will be closed on Sept. 12, and the Christian County Justice Center may have adjusted hours as the stage is constructed.
Street closures:
- Ninth Street from Seventh Street to South Main Street
- Bethel Street from Seventh Street to Tenth Street
Barricades on streets:
- Seventh and Ninth Street split
- Bethel Street and Seventh Street
- Bethel Street and Eighth Street
- Bethel Street and Tenth Street
- South Main Street and Ninth Street
Barricades on parking lots:
- Justice Way and Seventh Street
- Bethel Street and South Lot of H-CC Library

Additional detours:
