HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A 27-year-old man in Hopkinsville was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance on Friday.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office was assisting Probation and Parole when they found the suspect early on Oct. 6, according to a CCSO news release. The man was found in a truck on the 400 block of Henderson Drive.
“When Weatherford stepped out of the truck, deputies observed him trying to put something in the bed of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded bags of crystalline methamphetamine and 41 Xanax pills,” Deputy Swindell reported.
This arrest comes a week after 6 people were taken in by Hopkinsville Police Department when several pounds of meth and fentanyl were found during an investigation.
