HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Four academy principals and three administrative principals have been welcomed by Christian County Public Schools to head up the new Christian County High School next fall. All of the selected candidates were recognized in front of their family, friends, and fellow staff members during a news conference at the new campus on Oct. 2.

Comprised mostly of CCHS and HHS alumni, all of the chosen staff are currently already serving vital roles within the school district, merging together in new positions in support of the Christian County Tigers.

“You’re here to complete the transformation, the change on how we do high school at Christian County Public Schools. And, we have something to prove,” said Superintendent Chris Bentzel. He further broke it down in terms of numbers, explaining that there was over 90 years of experience between the new administrators who will be in charge of around 2,000 students across 350,000 square feet of the new campus.
