Hopkinsville Police roll out new traffic enforcement vehicle, with new look

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department has a new traffic enforcement vehicle with a new decal design.

The vehicle is a 2023 Camaro LT1 with a new decal that runs down the front and side of the cruiser that proudly displays Hopkinsville Police.

The vehicle is less expensive than a normal price packaged cruiser and allowed the Hopkinsville Police Department to save approximately $12,000, according to Hopkinsville Police spokesperson, Officer Royale Marfil.

“We felt the vehicles needed a fresh new look as they haven’t been updated in over 10 years,” Marfil said.

The Hopkinsville Police Department plans to add more of these vehicles to their fleet along with the new design.
