OAK GROVE, KY – Oak Grove Tourism is bringing the magic of the holiday season to life once again with Christmas in the Grove, a celebration filled with festive cheer and community spirit.
The evening will begin with a festive parade featuring lights, holiday music, and floats from local businesses and community members. Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa or coffee from Scooters and gather around as Santa himself lights up the Christmas tree, marking the start of the holiday season in Oak Grove.
After the tree lighting, follow Santa to the 1890s Historic Schoolhouse and discover how it has been transformed into his enchanting holiday workshop. Step inside this festive setting where twinkling lights, busy elves, and the magic of Christmas come to life. Families will have the opportunity to capture a memorable photo with Santa himself, and children will receive a special gift to take home, while supplies last. This delightful experience offers a perfect way to continue the evening’s celebration and create lasting holiday memories in Oak Grove.
To keep the festive spirit lively, they are hosting a friendly float competition. Cheer on your favorite parade entries and see which one will be crowned the best float of the evening and take home a coveted trophy. It’s a fun way for the community to celebrate creativity and holiday cheer together!
Traci Cunningham, Executive Director of Oak Grove Tourism & Convention Commission, shared, “We are excited to welcome the community to Christmas in the Grove. This season is all about celebrating joy, togetherness, and the warmth of the holidays. We hope everyone will join us in making special memories that will be treasured for years to come.”
