HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Construction is well underway at new ALDI location being developed in Hopkinsville off of Clinic Drive. What was formerly an Office Max near Walmart, the building is now being renovated to accommodate the grocery store.
This renovated building will not act as a second location for the city, as ALDI is already located not far down the road on Fort Campbell Boulevard near the area of Country Club Lane. Instead, the current location will close down and move into the renovated store.

Skyler Jones, Regional Vice President at ALDI provided a statement to Christian County Now about the expansion, explaining that the new location is set to open this summer with around 12,000 square feet of retail space. The new Clinic Drive location was chosen due to its convenience and ability to support high traffic volume.
“The new store will provide an improved layout and ample refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh and convenient food selection,” said Jones. “Like all ALDI stores, the new Hopkinsville location will offer a streamlined shopping experience and low prices in every aisle, and customers will notice the elevated design. Shoppers can look forward to weekly offerings of limited-time ALDI Finds like seasonal food, home goods and more.”
Jones added that they are prioritizing a seamless transition between the locations when construction is completed.
According to the ALDI website, they are America’s fastest-growing grocer, serving millions of customers across the country each month. Their approach to operating with simplicity aims to give customers great products at the lowest prices of any national grocery store.
