HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Salvation Army in Hopkinsville is asking for volunteers to help with their Red Kettle campaign as the Holiday season rapidly approaches.

There are various shifts available November and December where volunteers can dedicate a few hours of their time to ring a bell and collect donations for those less fortunate.

Shifts begin at 10 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. Participants can either volunteer as an individual, ring with a group or become a virtual ringer. Virtual ringers will set up a fundraiser and ask their friends or family to donate to the Hopkinsville Salvation Army branch.

Participants can also choose their location to where they would like to volunteer.

  • Hobby Lobby, 4805 Fort Campbell Blvd.
  • Kroger, 1213 Skyline Dr.
  • Walgreens, 2901 Fort Campbell Blvd.
  • Walmart, 300 Clinic Dr.
  • Walmart Neighborhood Market, 3106 Canton St.

Those in Oak Grove, can participate at the Walmart Supercenter on 14800 Fort Campbell, Blvd.
