HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Brooke Jung, the Executive Director for the Hopkinsville-Christian County Visitors Bureau, has officially announced her resignation as of Nov. 17.
In her statement, Brooke explained she had been approached by Visit Albuquerque, New Mexico, about a new opportunity, and after much deliberation, has decided to take the position, according to a press release from Visit Hopkinsville.
At Visit Hopkinsville, Brooke and her team have won numerous awards, and accomplished many things. During her tenure, over $1 million in Kentucky Department of Tourism funds was created for the community and its projects, social media engagement was increased by over 400% and tourism has overall increased to record breaking numbers.
The press release from Visit Hopkinsville did not say when Jung will move to Albuquerque. Her husband, Chris Jung, was recently named public information officer of Hopkinsville.
