CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An ongoing investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office regarding a man who was shot this weekend has resulted in one arrest.

Around 2 a.m. on July 19, deputies were called to the 6900 block of Madisonville Road for a report of shots fired at a house party. Emergency crews located a 19-year-old man that had been shot in the abdomen, with a total of three vehicles hit by gunfire with no arrests initially made.

Detectives talked to multiple witnesses and reviewed video from the shooting, leading to the arrest of 19-year-old Kaiden Robinson of Central City, according to CCSO Public Information Officer John Godsey.

The man who was injured in the shooting has been identified as 19-year-old Joshua Morris, who remains in a Nashville hospital for treatment for his injuries.

Robinson was arrested the evening of July 19 and was taken to the Christian County Jail. He is currently being charged with tampering with physical evidence and several counts of first-degree wanton endangerment including discharge of a firearm. CCSO says the investigation remains ongoing.
