Here are two animals the shelter recommends this week for adoption:
Cookie is back! She is a 2 year old black and white DSH who was recently adopted and brought back because she tries to escape out the door. She is a very sweet girl and doesn’t mind to be handled and loved on. She is great with children and was really quick to adjust to the shelter. She hasn’t had any issues using her litterbox since coming into the shelter. COOKIE DOES NOT LIKE OTHER CATS OR DOGS. She is FIV/FLV/HW NEGATIVE as of 09/09/2023 and MICROCHIPPED. Cookie is now ready to find her new PURR-EVER home! She has been spayed and brought up to date on vaccinations through the shelters spay neuter program. Her adoption fee is $57.50.

This gorgeous girl is Maizy! She is a 2 year old Pit mix who was brought to the shelter as a stray from Hopkinsville she was then adopted
and returned because she was not getting along with the small dogs in the home. She has done fantastic with the shelter staff and has a great temperament for kids of all ages. She doesn’t mind other big dogs and she does great with cats! We also don’t know if she is housebroken but she can learn anything with some time and patience! Maizy is HEARTWORM NEGATIVE and weighs about 37 pounds. She has been spayed and brought up to date on vaccinations through the shelters spay neuter program. Her adoption fee is $28.More animals and information can be found on the Christian County Animal Shelter’s Facebook.
