HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The 10th Annual Summer Salute Festival wrapped up Saturday night in downtown Hopkinsville with performances from country artists Harper Grace and Chris Janson.
The two-day festival, organized by Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, was held Friday and Saturday throughout downtown Hopkinsville. The free community event featured live music, food and merchandise vendors, carnival rides, a bounce zone and other activities for families.

Saturday’s entertainment centered around the stage outside the Christian County Justice Center, where Harper Grace opened the evening. Grace, a rising country artist, performed ahead of the festival’s headliner, Chris Janson.
Janson took the stage later in the evening to close out this year’s festival. The country singer and songwriter is known for songs including “Buy Me a Boat,” “Fix a Drink” and “Good Vibes.” The festival began Friday with performances from The ’77 Experience and Hollywood Swinging, a tribute to Kool & the Gang.
