- Details: Local actors with Campanile Productions will perform the Tony-nominated musical based on the true story of a small Newfoundland community that welcomed thousands of airline passengers stranded after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Annual Fall Truck and Tractor Pull

- Details: Farm tractor and truck pulls will take place as part of the annual fall pull at the Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds.
Free Movie: Dungeons and Dragons

- Details: A free showing of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will be held at HCCPL. The movie is for ages 13 and older. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

- Details: Hopkinsville Brewing Company will celebrate its 10th annual Hoptoberfest with the release of this year’s Hoptoberfest beer, a beard competition, stein-holding competition and adult spelling bee. Food will be sold by Jus’ Burgers.

- Cost: $10 per car; active-duty military and first responders are free with ID. Bus admission is $15 for up to 25 passengers and $30 for 26 or more passengers.
- Details: Naturefest will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including hayrides, canoe tours, a petting zoo, face painting, children’s garden activities, birding and bee exhibits and more. Pumpkin painting will be available for an additional $3.

- Details: Active-duty service members and veterans are invited to a special evening celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and honoring the military and veteran community. The event will feature live music, free food and drinks, giveaways, guest speakers and drink tickets for guests 21 and older. Registration is required.
