HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Heat Advisory that has extended all week in Hopkinsville-Christian County. This will expire on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.

Heat index values will be in, or near the triple digits, possibly up to 109 degrees with clear skies. NWS says the prolonged period of late season hot temperatures and high humidity will continue to elevate health-related health impacts and resulted in the advisory.
