HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This Halloween season there are a few local spots that will be delivering some screams both in and near Hopkinsville. From a literal haunted home to a scary schoolhouse just outside Christian County, there are a wide range of spooky places to visit.

Nightmares End Haunted House
This year’s theme is Hillbilly Horror, with a new attraction called The Manor. Nightmares End is a family-owned haunted house has been open for over 20 years, with a food truck on site and a fire pit for friends and families to hang out after their scares.

Prosperity Falls Haunted Acres
This locally owned and operated haunted house is a full scream-park experience with multiple attractions, including the Ride of Screams haunted hayride, Trail of Terror, House of Horror, Toxic Zombie Shootout and Maze of Horror.

The Knight House
This historic home in Hopkinsville offers paranormal investigations and ghost hunts, including overnight investigations. The owners have heard disembodied voices, phantom footsteps, weird noises, knocking, and experienced other phenomena.

Sinister Schoolhouse
Just outside of Christian County, the historic, two-story former Trenton Elementary School transforms into a 3-D haunted attraction. Visitors can expect creepy schoolhouse scenes, clowns, twists and turns, intense scares and new scenes for 2026. The attraction describes itself as the longest 3-D haunt in America. A portion of every ticket sold goes back to support restoration and maintenance efforts for the schoolhouse

Halloween at the Grove
Visit this free, one-day-only Halloween event by Oak Grove Tourism that will turn Valor Hall Conference and Event Center into a haunted house. It will be open for kids over the age of 13, with other family friendly options at the event including a pumpkin patch and hayride.

Historic Bell Witch Cave
No supernatural story in American history is more documented than that of the Bell Witch, according to their website. This haunted location just across the state line in Adams, Tennessee has cave tours, paranormal investigations, lantern tours and hayrides.
