HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On Monday, Nov. 20, Christian County Public Schools announced the unexpected passing of MLK Elementary School teacher Kristy Grace.
Grace was a longtime employee of Christian County Schools and served in numerous schools and roles across the district, according to a Facebook post from CCPS.
Grace has severed as a teacher and assistant principal throughout her years with Christian County. Most recently at MLK Elementary, she served as a reading and math interventionist.
“We extend our sincerest condolences to her family, friends, and co-workers during this difficult time,” wrote CCPS.
Grief counselors will be available for the students and staff at MLK.
