James Ernest “Ernie” Knight, age 57, of Winchester, KY passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Knight was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on November 18, 1966, the son of the late James Ruby “Rubin” and Mary Edith Rose Knight. Ernie worked for 17 years at Dana Corporation. He served three years as military police in the United States Air Force and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his sons, Brad Knight (Maryann) of Hopkinsville, Josh Knight (Kristin) of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Connie McKelvey (Mark) of Clarksville, TN, Brenda Stotts (Charles) of Missouri, Shelia Burrington (Chad) of Washington; and his grandchildren, Colin Knight and Kali Fuller.
