HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On Tuesday night, a Hopkinsville man was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, after he was shot in the stomach at the Manhattan Motel on South Main Street.

Around 6 p.m., Hopkinsville police received a call when the victim was hanging out at the motel. The victim claims he was shot and suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach. According to HPD spokesperson Royale Marfil, the man was uncooperative with officers and detectives on scene. HPD is waiting to hear on the condition of the man.

The incident is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
