HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville Police received a report of a disturbance the afternoon of Jan. 5 at Moores Court. The victim said she was assaulted after she didn’t allow the suspect to stay at her home.
The two began to argue and started physically fighting, she told police. The suspect choked her, and then grabbed her phone and threw it over a fence before leaving.
The suspect was found later that evening in a residence on Hazel Street. Police obtained and executed a search warrant finding three handguns, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Two of the handguns were reported stolen.
The suspect and another person in the residence were arrested.
