HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – With ice and snow overnight, many closures are being announced.

Below is a list of closures and delayed openings. Email closure notices to news@christiancountynow.com.

Schools

  • Christian County Public Schools are closed on Friday. All games and events are also canceled for Friday. The County/Hoptown games scheduled for Friday, have been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 24.
  • Hopkinsville Community College is closed on Friday. Students should check their KCTCS email and Blackboard for communication regarding each class and remote plans.

Government

  • City of Hopkinsville will open at 10 a.m. Friday, and operate until 4 p.m.
  • County Clerk will open at 10 a.m. Friday.
  • Hopkinsville Electric System will open at 9 a.m. Friday.
  • Pennyrile Electric is open.
  • Hopkinsville Water Environment is closed.
  • Christian County Sheriff’s Office front lobby is closed.

Other

  • Hopkinsville Transit is open.
  • Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation is open.
  • Jennie Stuart Health will open at 9 a.m. Friday.
  • Hopkinsville Christian County Library is closed.
