HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man has died as a result of his injuries after a severe two vehicle accident on Saturday night.
The crash occurred on just after 6 p.m. on March 7 near the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Lovers Lane. Payton Rodgers, spokesperson with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS told Christian County Now that it appeared a semi-truck was attempting a U-turn near the shopping center when a four-door sedan struck underneath the trailer, leaving the driver entrapped.
One occupant, an adult male in is 40s, was in the sedan, and was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress. Rogers says he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
