HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A teenager was injured after being shot Friday night in Hopkinsville.
Emergency responders were called to the 800 block of Oak Hurst Drive around 9:40 p.m. on March 27, according to Payton Rogers with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS. A 15-year-old male was located with a gunshot wound to the face from an unknown caliber.
EMS says he was conscious and alert while receiving treatment on the scene. He was transported via ambulance and was then flown by AirEvac to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Christian County Now has reached out to Hopkinsville Police for more information about the investigation.
