HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two businesses suffered severe damage in a fire on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville on Wednesday night.
According to Hopkinsville Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the building containing two businesses around 7:22 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the roof.
The fire originated in A&J Custom Graphics & Signs, which occupies the same building as Tara’s Tremendous Trendz. There were no reported injuries.
Hopkinsville Fire Department believes the fire likely stemmed from an electrical malfunction, but it remains under investigation. The structure sustained severe damage to the interior of the building and its contents.
