CROFTON, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man and a woman were arrested in Crofton after meth and other drugs were found in their car that crashed into a ditch in Crofton.

Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office found both of the occupants unresponsive in the area of East Princeton Street and Crofton- Fruithill Road on July 31 around 4:30 p.m. Hopkinsville EMS successfully revived both individuals on the scene, according to a news release from CCSO.

Deputies found methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana, suboxone strips, unidentified narcotics, and money in the vehicle. Both suspects are facing drug trafficking charges along with drug possession charges. After the suspects were medically cleared, they were taken to Christian County Jail.

The CCSO encourages anyone with information about drug activity in the county to submit a tip on the Christian County Sheriff’s Office website.
