HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two teenagers were injured in a shooting in the McPherson area of Hopkinsville on Thursday.
Hopkinsville Police reported that Flock camera systems detected the sound of gunshots in the North McPherson Avenue area just before 6 p.m. As officers were en route, emergency dispatch informed two individuals had arrived at Jennie Stuart Medical Center with gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as cousins ages 18 and 19.
The older of the two was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, while the younger still remains at Jennie Stuart. Police say both are still in critical condition.
