OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The sky will fill with butterflies in Oak Grove this weekend during the annual Butterfly Festival.
Activities will start Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. at 101 Walter Garrett Lane. This event is free and open to everyone. The day will be filled with family friendly activities like face painting, balloons, train rides, stage shows, a petting zoo, zip line and many food trucks.
It all leads up to the main even at 4 p.m. where 2,000 butterflies will take flight during the butterfly release.
