HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A crash report from Hopkinsville Police Department says a pedestrian was hit by a car in the Kroger parking lot on Skyline Drive Monday morning.
Officers report the vehicle was attempting to turn left in the parking lot when the 60-year-old woman was struck. The driver says she did not see the woman, who was walking to her vehicle.
According to the police report, the driver says her feet got mixed up and she pressed the gas instead of the brakes.
The pedestrian was struck from behind and hit her head on the pavement as she fell. She was taken to Jennie Stuart Health in an ambulance, her current condition is unknown. No charges have been filed at this time.
