HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Residents on Dink Embrys Buttermilk Road were uninjured after an unknown suspect fired several shots into their home Monday night.

Officers with the Hopkinsville Police Department received a call around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 reporting the shooting. According to Officer Royale Marfil, the caller advised that their home was hit by several bullets, no one inside the home was injured.

Nine shell casings were located on the scene around the home scattered around the roadway. A dark colored sedan was reportedly leaving the area heading towards the Eagle Way Bypass right after the incident occurred.

No arrests have been made, and no additional information about a possible suspect is available from Hopkinsville Police. Anyone with information about the shooting can contact dispatch at 270-890-1300.
