HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A drug investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s office resulted in the arrest of a Hopkinsville man Wednesday morning.
On Sept. 16 at 9:05 a.m., deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Locust Street as part of an ongoing investigation. Approximately two ounces of suspected meth was found inside a shoe, and more was found in a plastic cup. The search also yielded two digital scales, a large amount of suspected marijuana in a lemonade container, a glass smoking pipe, and an AK-47 rifle were found inside the home.
The investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Jeffery Wade of Hopkinsville on charges of trafficking meth, trafficking marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit conducted the investigation.
