HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – ALDI has officially opened their new store on Clinic Drive Hopkinsville, with the grocery store closing their nearby location to relocate.

A grand opening was planned to welcome in the community and unveil the renovations at the former Office Max building on June 25, with the space transformed into a larger, upgraded store. Before, ALDI was located not far down the road at Fort Campbell Boulevard near the area of Country Club Lane. This location is no longer in operation as of this week.

Skyler Jones, Regional Vice President at ALDI previously told Christian County Now that the new store has 12,000 square feet of retail space, and the decision to move was made due to Clinic Drive’s convenience and ability to support high traffic volume.

Back in March when construction was well underway, Jones said customers could expect an improved layout with more refrigeration to accommodate an expanded food selection. The new store can be found 190 Clinic Drive near Wal-Mart. It will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to the ALDI website, they are America’s fastest-growing grocer, serving millions of customers across the country each month. Their approach to operating with simplicity aims to give customers great products at the lowest prices of any national grocery store.
