HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville, Oak Grove and surrounding communities now have a new way to access the news with the new Christian County Now app!

While our main ChristianCountyNow.com website provides an excellent mobile experience, the app offers great new features, including notifications on your phone and the ability to easily listen to eight local radio stations wherever you can take your phone.

You can install the new app today in the iPhone App Store or on Android, Google Play Store.

Notifications by topic

As soon as you download the app, you’ll be asked if you want to Allow Notifications. Be sure to click Allow! You can then go to Notifications to customize your alerts by which categories you’re interested in:

  • Crime
  • Entertainment
  • News
  • Sports
  • Weather

You can select as many as you want, and when we have significant local news on one of those topics, you’ll get a push notification.

If you prefer, you can also still receive breaking news text alerts by texting CCNOW to 43414.
