HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – ATV and UTV thrill seekers are planning on making their way to Crofton this weekend for the Holler Bash. Joshua Allen and his team have been hard at work designing and digging out a dynamic racetrack to offer the area a fun event on his expansive land. Off road riding, a bounty hole, live music, and food trucks will be available all weekend long for people camping or popping in for the day.

Allen held the first event on his 11,000-acre property in August 2024. Since then, he has been brainstorming ideas to continue to grow the Hollar Bash event and allow the community to explore the beautiful Crofton landscape which is home to campgrounds, 40 miles of trails, and a concert area.

Work is wrapping up to dig out the curving, winding track for the obstacle course, which Allen has thoroughly researched to make sure it is unique, challenging, and fun. “I’m the kind of guy that just tries things out,” Allen told Christian County Now. “I watched a lot of YouTube videos and spoke to a lot of people and decided to give it a go.”

Three performances from bands will be held on Friday and Saturday night this weekend, with an Emcee playing music along with the events. “I’d love for people to come out and see the place and experience it,” said Allen.

The Bounty Hole event, which is a large mud pit, will take place on Saturday at noon. Meanwhile, the obstacle course competition will also kick off on Saturday at 3 p.m., and there will be an opportunity for night riding on Friday and Saturday night.

Tickets for the Holler Bash can be purchased in advance, or in cash at the gate. A $1,000 payout will be awarded to the winner, with a $20 buy in for drivers. On-site camping will be available, three day or one day camping passes can be purchased. Find information about how to purchase tickets on the Holler Bash Facebook page.
