Carolyn Goode, age 79, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Barren Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Goode was born in Christian County, KY, on July 23, 1944, to the late Rice and Irene Sims Tucker. Carolyn retired from Freudenberg. She was a member of New Barren Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jimmy Goode in 2022; her son, Troy Lynn Goode in 2021.
Survivors include her son, Tim Goode, and his wife Leslie of Hopkinsville; her daughter-in-law, Anna Goode of Hopkinsville; her sister, Linda Bridges of Hopkinsville; and her five grandchildren, Rebecca Roland, Morgan Orange, Micah Goode, Maggie Goode, and Mollie Goode.
