HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – After being closed for in-person learning for all five days last week, Christian County Public Schools will remain shut down through Monday, Feb. 2. Inspire Early Learning Center will be open with modified hours from 7:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.
CCPS says ongoing conditions from the winter storm have prevented snow-covered roads and school campuses from clearing. Monday will be a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Day #7. If families are able, students are encouraged to complete their assigned NTI work.
Grab-N-Go food bundles containing breakfast and lunch meal items for any CCPS student (PreK–12) will be available for pick-up on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Christian County Middle School, located at 215 Glass Ave. in Hopkinsville. Families can enter the drive on the PAC side of the school and drive around to the back to the bus drop-off/cafeteria entrance to the school, according to a news release from CCPS.
Families with questions may contact their school through ParentSquare, Google Classroom, or email.
