HOPKINSVILLE, KY – On Thursday, Christian County Public Schools announced Kim Lint has been selected to serve as the next principal of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center. Mrs. Lint was currently serving as the interim principal for the school.
“We are delighted to officially welcome Ms. Lint into the role of principal,” said Assistant Superintendent Jessica Addison. “With her extensive background in early childhood education and a deep passion for early learning, Ms. Lint brings exceptional leadership and vision to the school. During her time as interim principal, she made significant strides, fostering growth and success. We look forward to seeing her continue to guide our students and staff to even greater achievements.”
Lint has over 30 years of experience in education as an elementary teacher, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, and assistant principal, having taught in Todd, Hopkins, and Muhlenberg counties as well as Orlando Florida. Ms. Lint joined the staff at South Christian Elementary in 2019. Before stepping into the interim principal role at the MLK Early Learning Center, she served as the assistant principal at Freedom Elementary.
Ms. Lint holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Education and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Austin Peay State University. She earned her Rank 1 Supervisor of Instruction from the University of the Cumberlands and a Rank 1 in Instructional Leadership from Murray State University.

Lint and her husband Will reside in Hopkinsville and enjoy spending time with their five children and nine grandchildren.
