HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – “We’ve experienced tornados here in town, and I’m sure it’s the same thing down there,” said Challenge House Ambassador Jeffrey Littlefield. “It’s simple, I want to help people.”
Challenge House #7 is filling up a trailer from Edgewood Baptist Church with donations to send to Montgomery County tornado victims. He said they have already filled 25 disaster buckets with necessary materials. They are planning on delivering the items at the end of the week, so anyone who wants to donate still has time to do so.
“That’s what God wants me to do,” said Littlefield.
All donations are welcome, but they are prioritizing hygiene and baby items like formula and diapers, along with cleaning supplies. To assist with cleanup, they are also asking for gloves, shovels, rakes, and trash bags. Donations can be dropped off at Challenge House #7 at 1605 Phelps Avenue in Hopkinsville or call Jeff Littlefield at 270-874-7018.
