HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Animal Shelter will be hosting a Howl-O-Ween event on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be food trucks, vendors, raffles, games, face painting and plenty of fun to be had for furry friends and their owners.
The animal shelter will also be offering $8 microchips in an effort to reduce stray animals in the area. Microchips make a huge difference in pets making it back home, explains the Christian County Animal Shelter. “The more that are microchipped, the more that will likely make it home later,” shelter officials said.
Costumes and pets are highly encouraged.
The Christian County Animal Shelter is also looking for vendors for the event, and anyone interested should contact the shelter at 270-887-4175.
