HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Stacy Crick is stepping in as the new head coach for the Colonels golf program. She already leads the girl’s golf team and spent last year as an assistant coach for the boys.
“There is a lot of talent on this team among both young and veteran players,” said Crick. “I see the potential and believe they’re capable of posting some very competitive scores. They’re also a great group of boys and a lot of fun! I couldn’t be more excited to step into the head coach role.”
When not on the golf course, Crick spends her time as the school counselor for CCHS. She is hoping that her insight working as an assistant coach for the boys will help her create an approach to develop existing skills while also working to improve, says a new release from Christian County Public Schools.
“We are very excited to have Coach Crick as our Head Boys Golf Coach,” said Athletic Director Trey Wheeler. “Her work ethic, dedication, and knowledge of the game of golf is going to be a great addition for our program. We are excited to have Coach Crick as our head boys and girls golf coach.”
Crick’s past golf experience includes playing at Belmont University and Brescia University. She previously held the title of assistant golf coach for boys and girls at CCHS in 2008 and was head girls’ golf coach at Hopkins County Central High School from 2012-2014.
