HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Welcome Center on the Kentucky-Tennessee state line is set to reopen after being closed for over a month.
The rest stop has been closed to the public since March 25 for major upgrades to their drainage system, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Since then, the rest area parking has been limited to large trucks and commercial vehicles.
On April 29, the facility be fully open, and will return to regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
