HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – All Christian County Public Schools were nationally recognized as one of America’s Healthiest Schools by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, with a few additionally awarded as All-Star schools.

This is awarded based on the commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of students, staff, and families. 1,120 schools in 34 states were recognized for this in 2025, with the highest number of schools coming from California, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Texas.

According to a news release from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, schools are evaluated based on nine topic areas, including Nutrition and Food Access, Physical Education and Activity, School Health Services, Staff Well-Being, and Family and Community Engagement.

On top of this, Millbrooke Elementary School, Indian Hills Elementary, and Christian County Middle made the All-Star list for meeting all nine of these criteria. This distinction was only given 168 schools nationwide.

“Congratulations to our schools for advancing policies and practices that support healthy learning environments,” said CCPS. “We are so proud of our students, staff, and families!”
