HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The City of Hopkinsville is pleased to announce two upcoming community events that reflect the city’s ongoing commitment to transparency, civic engagement, and local recognition.

Mayor’s Legislative Town Hall

The upcoming Mayor’s Legislative Town Hall will provide residents an opportunity to hear directly
from state legislators and city leadership about key issues impacting Hopkinsville and Christian County.

This town hall will feature Senator Craig Richardson, Representative Myron Dossett, and Representative Walker Thomas. Each will share updates on state legislation, discuss priorities for the upcoming session, and answer questions from community members.

The event is open to the public, and all residents are encouraged to attend and participate in this important civic discussion.

2025 Mayor’s Community Awards

The Mayor’s Community Awards will return this year to celebrate the unsung heroes who make Hopkinsville a stronger, more connected community.

The ceremony will recognize individuals and organizations in the following categories:

  • Volunteer
  • Educator
  • Small Business
  • Nonprofit
  • City of Hopkinsville Employee
