CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The City of Lafayette in Christian County has announced some fun activities for the community to take part in this fall.
Movies in the Park return this season at the Lafayette City Park, where kids movies will be shown on select Friday’s at 8 p.m. This will start on Sept. 25 with a showing of Kung Fu Panda, with Minecraft on Oct. 9 and Coco on Oct. 23. People are encouraged to bring a chair and free popcorn and soda will be provided.
This Saturday on Sept. 26 in the downtown area, there will be a Lafayette Market Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a food truck and artisanal, homemade items such as crafts and fresh produce for sale. A bluegrass band will also be performing at 2 p.m.
